Welcome to the carrd for the system known as BEAGLE! We're an OSDD-1b system with multiple accounts that we use as our own personal places to interact with our source(s) as well as simply post our own thoughts and lives without having to share the space with others in our system!

What is a SYSTEM or a FICTIVE?
A mini-essay written by a fictive!
For those of you who do not know what a "system" is referring to; A system refers to people with DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder) and OSDD-1b or OSDD-1a (Other Specified Disassociative Disorders.)
Both of which were previously referred to as "Multiple Personality Disorder" (Don't call it that lol it's ignorant, inaccurate, and disrespectful.)
The alters in the systems are their own individual people with their own personalities, beliefs, and opinions same as anyone else!
A type of alter that you will be seeing a lot from us especially is a fictional introject aka a fictive, which is an alter who is formed/based off of a fictional character. Fictives don't always but sometimes do have memories from their source material (typically referred to as exomemories/pseudomemories) and they may not always line up with what you know as "canon." The exomemories can also vary in detail, depth, and in some cases, some alters may have multiple timelines or "canons" that they have memories from.
I'll use myself as an example here as a fictive of Annabeth Chase.
I've existed for a little over a decade now (I split sometime around 2008-2009) and I have memories from 2, possibly 3 different timelines! A mostly canon one, one where I was the daughter of Zeus, and another where Thalia was the child of the prophecy.
While I, personally, don't mind being asked questions or talking about my memories or source; Please keep in mind that not all fictives are okay with those topics! Just like how not all of us even have memories! Our system also has a Nico di Angelo who...has no memories despite having been here nearly as long as I have been! And our Sapnap mixtive (fictive/factive mix, factive being introjects formed from real people/deities/etc) has memories and such, but hates discussing them with people.
